Ken Lim

Forte: Presentation skills, service excellence, sales prospecting and negotiation skills.

Ken’s training career began in the mid 90’s when he pioneered a set of training program for Canon which transformed the copier sales team into the solution sales force today. He joined HP at the beginning of the millennium and over a 6-year period, Ken has formulated and facilitated a set of training program to IT solution providers across the South East Asia region.

Ken was awarded the 2005 Asia Pacific leadership summit in HP for the achievement of sales through training.

His stint as a Director – Principal Consultant /Trainer/ Lecturer with PMF Asia Pte Ltd saw him providing consultation and implementation of training and development initiatives to companies.

Ken has also taught Marketing at Diploma and Degree Level (University of South Australia and Bedfordshire) and was responsible for the development of Study Guide and Examination and Assignment Project. He lectured at the Auston Institute of Management on his subjects of expertise which include Strategic Marketing, Consumer Behaviour and Marketing Management for students on the degree programme of Coventry University.

In addition, Ken’s capacity as a lecturer at the Tourism Management Institute of Singapore has also led him to teach Marketing and Entrepreneurship for Hospitality and Tourism Industry to degree program students of Southern Cross University.

Ken’s wide training expertise and stellar training experience in the healthcare sector sees him conducting more than 100 hours of training in Singapore General Hospital, KK Hospital and Changi Hospital.

Ken’s training expertise also gave him the opportunity to facilitate training in National Institution of Education on IT application to MOE teachers from 2010 – 2012. Besides providing application training for NIE during their term break, he imparted soft skill knowledge on topics like presentation skills, service excellence, sales prospecting and negotiation skill, etc. Ken has also conducted assessments for Singapore Media Academy on Social Media training courses in 2010.
